Live Concert: Katy Lillich

  • Claremont Presbyterian Church 1111 North Mountain Avenue Claremont, CA, 91711 (map)

Join CPC’s own Katy Lillich for an evening of Irish and American folk tunes performed on the Celtic harp. Kathryn (Katy) Lillich is delighted to return to her hometown — and the church where she grew up — to debut her first solo album: Echos from Home. The album was inspired by her many travels around the British Isles, the people she encountered there, and the innate desire we all have to find the place we call home. The concert will feature many of the tunes on the album, as well as other traditional tunes for harp and voice. CDs will be available for purchase.

Classically trained in voice and piano, Kathryn discovered the Celtic harp when she was 17. She started performing just six months later and has since played at the Irish Fair, Southeastern Harp Festival, NAPA Music Festival, and more. She now has her own teaching studio in San Diego where she specializes in teaching students how to sing with their harps. You can follow her work on YouTube and social media — just visit klmusicstudio.com for all the links!
