Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow Coming to CPC
Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow coming to CPC February 21st and 22nd. As part of CPC’s Mission and Vision study, we will host the Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow to continue to envision our future and challenge ourselves to look for new ways to be a congregation where people feel they belong. Rev. Reyes Chow will visit Claremont Presbyterian Church February 21st and 22nd. Here is his schedule:
Saturday February 21st:
Meet with Deacons, Elders, and the Mission Study Team from 9:30am to 12:00. There will be a short presentation followed by a general discussion and small group reflections. For those who are able lunch will be served afterwards at a local restaurant. 8
Sunday, February 22nd:
Rev. Reyes Chow will preach at the 10AM service and after the service will speak to the congregation in Fellowship Hall with a lunch served.
About Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow
Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow is a 3rd Generation Filipino/Chinese American and an active speaker, writer, coach, and podcaster on topics of faith, leadership, activism, culture, race, and technology.
An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) he was elected Moderator of the Presbyterian Church USA in 2008, the youngest and first Asian American to hold the denomination’s highest elected office.
Rev. Reyes-Chow works with organizations on immigration, decarceration, and Palestinian liberation. He is the author of six books, most recently Everything Good about God is True: Choosing Faith with his next book, “Prophets, Priests, Pastors & Poets: Being and Becoming the Ressurected Christ,” due out in Fall 2026.
